GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The SIM General Assembly (GA) consists of one representative from each organization with SIM active membership, each having one vote.

The following fall under the authority of the General Assembly:

to elect the President, the members of the Electoral Commission and the members of the Fiscal Commission;
to define SIM policies;
to review, amend and approve the Bylaws;
to review, amend and approve the Rules of Order;
to review and approve the annual financial report;
to review and approve budget priorities;
to ratify or rectify the Council resolutions;
to approve the Council members who have not been directly elected ( TC Chair, QSTF Chair and PC);
to review and approve agreements proposed by the Council;
to conduct their meetings in accordance with the Rules of Order -;
to approve the admission, withdrawal and exclusion of members; and
to decide, if required, on the structure of a membership fee.
