Week’s Schedule
The annual SIM Week convenes leadership and staff of the National Metrology Institutes throughout the Western Hemisphere, alongside institutional partners, to discuss and coordinate metrology and quality infrastructure activities. SIM comprises 33 Active Members 14 Associate Members and 4 Affiliate members. Meetings of SIM’s Quality System Task Force (QSTF) and SIM Council will also be held during the week, as well as a celebration for the 10 years of QICA (Quality Infrastructure Council for the Americas and 45 years of SIM.

SIM ELECTIONS:
Arquímedes Ruiz from CENAM was elected as the next SIM President by 1 January 2026. Meanwhile, he will act as SIM Deputy President.
SIM General Assembly Resolution 11/2024:
Following section 6.1 of the SIM Rules of Order, an election for Deputy President, Sub regional Coordinators, Fiscal Commission, and Electoral Commission was conducted on Friday, 22 November 2024. Twenty-three (23) delegates casted votes. The following individuals were elected (terms beginning 1 January 2025):
