SIM Early Career Professionals Award – NCSLI Cooperation

Dr. Claire Saundry, the NIST Director of International and Academic Affairs, and the SIM President presented at the 2020 and 2021 Early Career Professionals Awards.

With the foresight to the future of measurement science, last year NCSL International and SIM, Sistema Interamericano de Metrología (Inter-American Metrology System), established the Early Career Metrologist Award. This opportunity was created to promote growth among SIM’s National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) and Designated Institutes (DIs) while fostering scientific thinking and measurement research within the region.
