WORKSHOP: Tools for modeling and analysis of results from key comparisons and suplementary comparisons.

The Laboratorio Tecnológico del Uruguay (LATU), together with the SIM Statistics and Uncertainty Working Group, will organize a workshop for SIM scientists working in national metrology institutes and designated laboratories, to familiarize them with state-of-the-art methods and tools for modeling and analysis of results from key comparisons and supplementary comparisons.

The workshop will be held remotely, via Zoom or equivalent,  free of charge, from Tuesday, October 17 to Thursday, October 19, from 8:00 a.m. (UTC) to 12:00 a.m. (UTC) with a total hourly load of 12 hours.

It will be a practical workshop, where participants will be able to apply statistical tools to reduce data from key comparisons, developing new skills for future applications. The workshop will involve discussions led by the organizers, teamwork,  and analyses of data from previous comparisons of interest to the participants, which they will be able to submit for group discussion.

Additionally, we ask that you please send us before September 15 a set of measurement results from a key comparison or interlaboratory study that is of interest to you (preferably already published, either in a technical report or journal article) that we can use for illustrations and analysis during the workshop. We will select some of those that will be contributed for presentation and discussion.
